Buying guide
The line with no school on the band

Most people find Bocock Brothers through a school box. This is the line that came first. Bryant and Douglas Bocock have been blending in Honduras since 2001, and the World Traveler series is what they make under their own name.

Two of these are rated 95 points by Stogie Press and the Habano is a CigarClub Top 10 Cigar of the Year. If you are buying for someone who already smokes and has no team, buy from here.

Questions, answered
Frequently asked
Are these officially licensed collegiate cigars?
No, and that is the point. The Legacy Collection is the Bocock Brothers own line. No school on the band, no university involved. These are the blends Bryant and Douglas Bocock make under their own name, and they are what the collegiate program was later built on top of.
What is the difference between this and a collegiate box?
The blend is chosen the same way, at the bench in Danlí with the master blender. What changes is the band and the box. A collegiate box is painted by hand in a school's colors and produced under license with that university. A Legacy box carries the Bocock Brothers name and nothing else.
What did AJ Fernandez make here?
Two of these four. The World Traveler Maduro and the Signature Edition Sumatra are produced with AJ Fernandez at his factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Maduro runs a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder, extra fermented, which is where the cacao and cedar come from.
Which one should I start with?
Connecticut if you are new or want something mild. It is rated 95 points and it will not bury a palate that is still learning. Habano is the flagship and a CigarClub Top 10 Cigar of the Year. Maduro is the full one, and most people reach for it after dinner rather than before lunch.
Where are they made?
The World Traveler Habano and Connecticut are rolled entirely by hand at Casa Don Andrés in Danlí, Honduras, where the Bocock brothers have been blending since 2001. Danlí's cigar industry was started in 1963 by Cubans who left the island. The two AJ Fernandez blends are made at his factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Long filler, whole leaf, no machines at any stage.
Do you ship nationwide, and is there an age requirement?
Yes, we ship across the United States. All customers must be of legal age to purchase tobacco, and age is verified at checkout and again at delivery.
